Overview

The emergence of Artificial Intelligence presents both an extraordinary opportunity and a significant risk for Black-owned businesses.

Businesses that successfully adopt AI will benefit from increased productivity, improved competitiveness, expanded markets, enhanced customer engagement, and greater access to procurement and trade opportunities.

Conversely, businesses that fail to participate in the AI economy risk exclusion from future digital supply chains.

The U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. is uniquely positioned to ensure that Black businesses are not merely participants in this transformation, but leaders within it.

The Invitation

We invite the U.S. Black Chambers, Inc. to become the Namespace Steward for the proposed BlackBusiness.AgenticAI.com / BlackBusiness.biz Dual Stack – a federated AI infrastructure designed to connect Black Chambers of Commerce, Black-owned businesses, procurement organizations, and global trading partners through AI Agents.

Vision

To create the world’s largest AI-enabled network for Black-owned businesses, enabling:

Discovery

Business discovery, supplier diversity and digital identity.

Procurement

Procurement participation and AI-assisted opportunity matching.

Trade

Export development and cross-border trade corridors.

Growth

AI-powered business support and chamber membership growth.

The network will operate across the United States while connecting to international trade ecosystems including Britain.Direct, Bogota.Trade, Durban.Trade and other global trade gateways. Chamber members for Bogota and Durban could become Namespace Stewards for Bogota.Trade and Durban.Trade respectively as part of the programme.

Proposed Role of U.S. Black Chambers

As Namespace Steward, U.S. Black Chambers would provide governance, onboarding, verification and community leadership.

  • Namespace provisioning
  • Welcome communications

  • Responses to routine enquiries
  • Membership information
  • Event information
  • Referral routing

Supplier Discovery Agent

IBM ADS Referral Agent

Human Oversight Model

Human-Led, AI-Assisted

AI Agents would not make final decisions independently. Human oversight would remain in place for business verification, chamber approval, membership disputes, governance decisions, procurement approvals, cross-border introductions and strategic partnerships.

Utilizing the AI Agents would substantially reduce administrative workload while enabling staff to focus on high-value relationship management.

Integration Architecture

Participating Chambers

Local and regional Black Chambers onboard members and validate participation.

BlackBusiness.Trade

Canonical AI endpoints support discovery, referrals, procurement and member services.

IBM ADS + Trade Gateways

IBM Partners, Britain.Direct, Bogota.Trade and Durban.Trade enable implementation and cross-border trade.

Integration with IBM ADS

The network would integrate directly with the IBM Auto Deal Share ecosystem, enabling participating businesses to access AI transformation services, IBM technology solutions, automation solutions, consulting services, managed services and training programmes.

Participating IBM Partners would support local chamber members in deploying AI solutions and business automation.

Integration with Britain.Direct

The Black Business AI Network would also serve as the inclusion layer for Black-owned businesses participating in the Britain.Direct national AI infrastructure initiative.

This creates opportunities for UK-US supplier relationships, cross-border procurement, trade missions, joint ventures and export promotion.
